A Journey to and from Vemodalen: Part One and Two.
(the frustration of photographing something amazing when thousands of identical photos already exist - the same sunset, the same waterfall, the same curve of a hip ......' or in my case the same puffin.
Part One
Why did I/do I make images? How did I get here? A brief look at my early images. My triggers for change and the difficulties I encountered moving from representational photography. An indoor and cheap starting place for experimentation with multiple exposures. The role of the Gelli Plate. Tips for creating multiple exposures using Lightroom and Photoshop for those without the ME facility on their cameras. 45-50 minutes
Part Two
The 'Pep Ventosa' or 'In the Round' technique and tips for processing. Working without definitive settings and preparing the camera to make multiple exposure images. Creating the essence of a place by 'shooting through'. Processing my way. 45-50 minutes
The above timings allow for a 15 minute coffee break and time for questions at the end. They are designed to fit in with the usual 2-hour slot at Camera Clubs.
A Road Less Travelled: My Journey to Expressionism
This session is designed to be very flexible. It does not include detailed information on how my images were created but is more of a pictorial excursion through my photographs. It includes street photography, portraiture, and wildlife with a main focus on my creative imagery. It can be designed to suit the timings available.

'That was a fabulous talk tonight and very inspirational. For someone who would have seen themselves as a more ‘traditional’ photographer and who is relatively early on their ‘creative’ journey, it was very interesting to see so many shared choices and directions as you have got to the place you are. Truly beautiful work!'

'An inspiring presentation of a photographic journey: from street photography, landscape and nature to creative abstract. We all looked forward to Lynne’s talk in our camera club in January and it was indeed nothing short of inspiring. As many of us are searching for our own voice of expression through photography, Lynne shared her own way to creativity and the evolution of her artistic vision. Not only could we admire her stunning images but we were also able to see what there was behind the scene. Her explanation of why and how she had created her works of art was particularly valuable and very much appreciated. Lynne generously shared her knowledge and captivated us with the beauty and deep expressiveness of her work. After her presentation we were all eager to get our hands on our cameras and engage in the endless possibilities of artistry in photography. '
