Creating digital collage can take the creator in many different directions. Making these images takes many hours of work. I begin with an idea but always finish, having created something very different. It's almost as if the process itself takes complete control. This whimsical, untethered walk, lifts me away from all intrusions. Allowing imagination to rule and experimentation to take hold, I am gently escorted into a universe of childlike fun and a very different kind of creativity. All my own photographs have been used to create the infill sections of these digital collages. The birds and the fish began as pencil drawings.
